This report establishes a baseline of expert opinion on wildfire risk and severity on 5 single species habitats. Expert opinion identified that heather and purple moor grass has the greatest wildfire risk and wildfires on bare peat and heather were percieved to be the most severe. The most common scenario for accidental ignition is a group of friends accidentally causing an ignition through incorrect disposal of a lit item.
