As a wildlife surveyor you will assist the Partnership in collecting long-term information about selected indicator species via our suite of Community Science surveys. Training will be provided to allow you to develop your knowledge of species identification and survey method for one or more of our surveys.
Once trained, you will be required to conduct surveys independently and submit your results.
Community Science targeted wildlife monitoring currently includes Bumblebees, Sphagnum mosses (The Big Moss Map) and Buds, Berries and Leaves - a plant phenology survey of upland plants including Bilberry and Rowan.
• Full training provided.
• Driving license and own transport would be advantageous but not a requirement.
