The Moorland Discovery Centre
The Moorland Discovery Centre is a lifelong learning centre, aimed at encouraging groups of all ages to experience and enjoy our wonderful moorland in the Peak District.
The centre is set in the grounds of the National Trust's Longshaw Estate and is surrounded by some of the most spectacular areas of the Peak District National Park, but still just over 7 miles from Sheffield city centre. The estate has easy access to moorland, woodland, farmland, rivers and ponds. All set with stunning views across the National Park. The centre is run in partnership between the National Trust and the Peak District National Park Authority on behalf of the Moors for the Future Partnership.
