Moorland Sustainability Baseline - back to top

Moors for the Future partnership uses integrated, sustainable approach to moorland conservation, understanding and enjoyment in the Peak District National Park. In order to set up a 'sustainability baseline', we aim to investigate patterns and processes on moorlands for efficient conservation management planning. A series of surveys have and will be carried out as a 'health check' of current moorland condition.

In addition we support independent research such as the Heather Beetle Survey and Bilberry Bee hunt.
