2007 Climate Change and Upland Management

The fifth Moors for the Future conference was held 19 -20 November 2007 to promote discussion between pracitioners, academics and policy makers on climate change and upland management. This conference was supported by additional funding from Environment Agency, National Trust, Natural England, Peak District National Park Authority, United Utilities and Yorkshire Water. Excellent feedback was received from participants. The event was oversubscribed so apologies to those who didn't manage to secure a place - please be sure to book early next year. 2007 'Science meets the eye!' competition
We were amazed at the standard of entries received for 'Science meets the Eye!' held in conjunction with the conference. The art competition celebrated and highlighted the high profile upland research in the Peak District National Park.
